SRW Motorsport has partnered with FANATEC to make it the name title sponsor of yet another edition of the GT World Challenge and the new GT2 European Series, thus becoming Fanatec GT World Challange powered by AWS.

The originality is that a “virtual world” brand will influence the results of the teams’ classification in the “real world” Championship. They will therefore have to nominate a driver who will represent them in the “virtual” race and whose results will capitalize on the final result.

The simulator to be used in these events will be the Asseto Corsa Competizione, which is already the official simulator of the GT World Challenge.

Let’s believe that SRO’s pioneering spirit is the harbinger of what may start to happen with other Promoters, in order to captivate new audiences for their events, and soon, visibility for their sponsors because without them … there is no evidence!
